About
Hi, I’m Tagnon Okoumassoun. I research on multi-robot autonomous systems.
What I’m working on
Multi-robot task allocation under capability uncertainty. Belief-space allocation where each robot’s true capability is unknown and estimated probabilistically during execution.
air-ground-ops — ROS 2 / Gazebo sandbox with 1 UAV and 3 UGVs. Testbed for the allocation work above.
modern_robotics — Notes from Kevin Lynch’s Modern Robotics specialization.
Background
- Current research direction: hierarchical decision-making and control for autonomous systems under uncertainty and degraded information.
- MEng in Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Ottawa (2023), advised by Ismaeel Al Ridhawi. BEng in Electronics and Communications Engineering, All Nations University (2020).
- Master’s research: Federated learning for UAV networks. IEEE Cyber Science Congress Best Paper, 2023, for blockchain-enabled FL with hierarchical aggregation. Undergraduate research: free-space optics and RoF-WDM communication systems, two journal publications.
